Whew. So, this is what I've been working on this week. These are just some character sketches I did to get used to the stylization and also to practice consistency in facial features and expressions. I drew these out on paper first, scanned them, and then went over the lines, making corrections and adjustments as needed. It was fun, and challenging. Some faces look better than others, but I like being able to exaggerate features to create goofy expressions. The Prince is mostly derp-faced, and Elika seems to be a mixture of frowning, sneering, and yelling. Haaaaa...

So, I promise that the comic won't look as sloppy as this. I'm still working out the kinks and trying to figure out what works stylistically and what doesn't, but I think these are okay for now.
